Yes, all that ballet I took is finally paying off. Degas would be so pleased, and even my sneakers look like ballet slippers if you squint.... O.k. so you have to squint more than that!
Ahhh you're here! Nice to see you and hope you have fun while you're here.
As you may know, this page belongs to an artist incognito. She is very illusive and goes by many names: Sasha, Empressina Alexandrina, Alishandra, Alexa, Alexie, Alexas from Texas, and you know all those other nick names.
I cannot tell you where she is right this minute or which name she is using, but here is the latest on what we have found! :0)

Boston
Bean Town. My destination from 15Oct - 20 Oct, 2008! I had so much fun, and if they would have let me I would have lots of pictures of what was inside this amazing museum... especially the very handsome guard who showed us Dante's Death mask. C'est la vie, n'est pas.
Oh well, Ashley and I had lots of fun!

Moo......La
Sunday, August 24, 2008
So 2 things.... One is that I'm a real teacher now. Yep, that's right, I'm certified and teaching art to 7-8th graders. No one died in the first week so I think I'll just keep going with that.
The other is I just had a great time up at the Heber Girl's Camp with the whole family (minus Ashley and Mike). No pictures yet, but I hope to have some soon! I loved the walk across the high beam and then the zip line. My legs were shaking just trying to walk across. Then I bravely jumped off the end onto the zip line and screamed my head off. It was beautiful!

Mi amigo - la guitarra
I'm up to all kinds of things these days, but one of my favorites is to play the guitar. It's been a while since I've had one to play and I'm going through the numb fingering stages and getting all caloused (however you spell it) up. I also love the short stubby nails on my left hand and the long nails on the right so I can use them as picks. :0)
For those of you who don't know, this is the new and best way to play guitar. Take my word for it. I've been developing this new way for some time now (about 10-15 minutes) and I think it will be a hit. I'll have it on a how-to DVD coming to an un-store near you.
O.K. so I'm secretly a wannabee cellist, but I just haven't gotten around to actually getting one yet. This guitar will have to do until I make it big!
Nothing like music to make your day.
I've got my Bridal Veil.
Ahh, Isn't Bridal Veil Falls beautiful? I love it.
This is my dear friend Eme and two of her cute kids. Eme and I spent the day with her four kidlets and hubby in Provo, and we had fun splashing around in the water at the bottom of the falls to cool ourselves off. Nothing like water on a hot Summer day!
PrincessMahonnaKittyKat
So this is my little kitty. Well, she's actually not so little, but she is a cutie and very devoted. She follows me everywhere and even joins me in yoga. I figured I would include some glamour shots of her just for fun.
You know she's had a lot of nick names too over the years. She started with Gabrielle, then Gabby (she does talk a lot), then Mahonna (because mum thought she was homely but she seemed to grow prettier) though like the great Johny Lingo I always thought she was very beautiful and worth more than 8 cows!

Ola Employmento.
It's official, I am now employed. At least for the Summer. And no I'm not going to tell you where or with whom. Just know that if you need to rent a car I might be able to help you out... then again, maybe not. Here's a hint about the company - they'll come pick you up. They won't pick me up and take me to work, but they'll come pick you up. :o)
Who knows what will happen by this Fall. You know, maybe I will get a job in some field that has nothing to do with my degree. Hello rocket scientist, or maybe concert pianist un-extraordinaire? Ah perhaps pro golfer? Do they have pro mini-golfers? Well I'll start as the caddy and work my way up.
This I know now after my premo education at BYU-I that teachers who do it right are amazing. I also have a lot more empathy for those who fall short and/or are just plain grumpy-britches from teaching. It's not for the faint of heart. So here's to having a courageous heart!
